Dating Younger Man W/Out a Car!

I met a 23 year old. He is very nice, chivalrous, intelligent, funny and ambitious. We had a wonderful first date and he has asked me for a second. Despite his age, I have really started to like him. He is PRE-Law and has 2 part time jobs. But,
he just told me he has no car, by choice.... He has been a gentleman and could be a great prospect, if only he had a car, then I could probably deal with the age and college thing. Would it be shallow of me to not want to date him because he is a 23 year old undergrad without a car? No car, no love?
