Future passenger 17B?

I'll be heading to the east coast for a wedding next weekend. The wedding is a town 2 hours from my parent's house and I would love to bring Olivia home to see them, but she's developed her shrieking lungs recently. The below demo reel shows her at 1/3 her capacity. Additionally, for the 6.5 hour westbound flight, I'm currently booked in a middle seat. She's not normally a continuous shrieker, but even a few 10 minute episodes on a 4 or 7 hour flight can be really stressful.

One of the websites I regularly consult for advice recommends benadryl or dramamine, but I'm not a huge fan of drugging her for 7 hours (since I have the option to leave her at home.) I think that my current aversion to automobiles may have something to do with all the Dramamine I took as a kid. Additionally, several parents report that Benadryl sometimes has the opposite effect (I would hate to find out the hard way.)

What do you think?

More Olivia Movies

Sorry to bore everyone with these movies, but my family on the east coast loves them. To answer your question, yes, there usually is some bad TV show on in the background.

Olivia is 6 months old

My family enjoys the videos.  In case mom and dad are tuning in during their vacation, here's a shot of Olivia at 6 months, 1 day old

Books

We were fortunate enough to have Olivia's Uncle Jim visit this past weekend. We were doubly fortunate that he did not call Child Protective Services on us.

Olivia has really enjoyed books. Eating them, that is.

Jim has taught Olivia a new trick -- how to turn pages.

Olivia's new threads

We seem perennially low on onesies. We got some really nice onesies as gifts, but Olivia has outgrown many of them or they shrunk in the wash. The onesies that DO fit Olivia seem to always be in the bottom of the clothes hamper.

Imagine my excitement today when I found these.

Which leads to our new poll. How long will it be before my mom calls to complain that I should buy Olivia new clothes instead of 'onesie extenders'?

NOTE: Margaret beat my mom to the call.  Not to worry Mom and Margaret, we also bought Olivia 5 new onesies while we were at the store!  As for the onesie extenders, upon further consideration, while it seemed like a good idea at the time, I've come to realize they're pretty stupid.
