One of the benefits of having a November baby is that you get to piggyback your birth announcements onto your Christmas cards. Or so I thought when I ordered 100 birth announcements imprinted with 'Happy Holidays.' I got around to sending about 50 at which point I ran out of both stamps and the will to live.
The first poll question -- should I send the remaining birth announcements anyway?
And the second poll question -- is it odd to get a birth announcement with a picture of Gerald Ford on the stamp? Was this the Postal Service's way of getting back at me for my cynical remarks about 'Love' stamps?

hilarious. And btw - I am still waiting for my birth announcement with the Gerald Ford Stamp!
I recently bought some superhero stamps from the post office. One of the stamps had a picture of a half-naked man called Namor. I thought that was weird. (But at least it wasn't Gerald R Ford...)
ok - i just got my thank you note (btw - you really dont have to write your sister thank you notes, but you DO need to send birth announcements to your sister). and decided to change my vote on the gerald ford question. Yes, it is weird to get a birth announcement with gerald ford on it.
